New Orleans Cajun Sauces found its origins when two families were evacuated as a hurricane devastated the area and took with it their homes and belongings. With only Cajun pride and love of great food, their families decided to do what people do best in Louisiana - they cooked, drank and passed a good time! Realizing their Cajun roots were temporarily behind them and feeling homesick, they quickly came up with something to add missing flavor and heat up the otherwise plain, unseasoned takeout food and quickly prepared stove top meals. The need for good food, coupled with Cajun know-how came through for them. They cooked up new sauces that gave bland food something much needed, kick!
All they needed was Cajun spirit - it turned bad times into good times! Sharing these newly created sauces with other evacuees, they were soon cooking gallon batches with names like "Cajun Luau", "Garlic Chipotle" and "Creole Pecan". Quickly becoming a staple at gatherings, friends and family began clamoring for bottles of sauces and wanted recipes! In 2008 they put forth the initiative to share with you their complete line of gourmet sauces that are sure to satisfy your craving for -
