The Ambrosia Bakery opened its doors
on December 3, 1993. Owners Felix and Cheryl Sherman are natives
of New Orleans. They started the bakery to provide beautiful
cakes and delicious desserts to the people of Baton Rouge.
Looking back, they can truly say that a lot of things happened
for a reason. Felix has a background in management from a local
beverage company. He learned the ins and outs of that business,
beginning as a route truck driver and working his way up to
branch manager. There, he learned just how to successfully
lead a team of people in sales and marketing.
